Project BeyshickUntil recently, for me, this line was just a grouping words – words that our leaders keep repeating to give us hope and strength to keep going. After going through Project Beyshick, we the 16  participants have been shown that being tomorrow’s leaders is entirely possible and entirely worth it.

The lack of healthy food choices, along with a lack of exercise, help explain why diabetes is rampant in North Spirit Lake, a tiny Nishnawbe Aski Nation community about 600 kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay.
